Post-Hajj Repatriation Begins Tomorrow for 88,000 Pilgrims

ISLAMABAD: The post-Hajj flight operation begins tomorrow, June 11, with the first group of Pakistani pilgrims returning home via a flight scheduled to land in Islamabad at 3:50 AM.


Seven Return Flights Scheduled for Day One
A total of seven flights will arrive across major cities on the first day of the repatriation operation. The second flight is set to land in Islamabad at 9:10 AM, followed by arrivals in Lahore (11:50 AM and 2:30 PM), Islamabad again (12:10 PM), Multan (12:35 PM), and Karachi (1:35 PM). An eighth flight will arrive in Islamabad early the next day, at 5:20 AM on June 12.

Operation to Run Until July 10
The post-Hajj operation will continue until July 10, ensuring the return of 88,390 pilgrims under the government scheme. The large-scale operation will span 342 flights, managed collectively by Pakistan’s national, private, and Saudi airlines.

Government Ensures Smooth Coordination
Authorities have assured that all necessary arrangements have been made to facilitate the pilgrims’ safe and timely return. Coordination between aviation, immigration, and religious affairs departments has been enhanced to manage the incoming flights efficiently.

PM Shahbaz Thanks Saudi Leadership
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif praised Saudi Arabia’s leadership for organizing a spiritually enriching and well-managed Hajj. In a message on platform X, he conveyed his gratitude to King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for making the experience more comfortable and memorable for pilgrims.
