Motorcycle Bomb Blast in Barkhan-Quetta Kills One, Injures Eleven
QUETTA – A tragic incident shook the Rakhni area of Barkhan district in Balochistan on Monday, where a powerful bomb blast claimed the life of one individual and left 11 others injured.
According to initial reports received by Pulse Pakistan, the explosive device was planted on a motorcycle. The intensity of the blast shattered windows of nearby shops and buildings, and severely damaged a nearby vehicle.
Rescue teams and law enforcement authorities swiftly responded to the site. The injured were promptly moved to a nearby hospital, where they are currently receiving medical care. Hospital sources confirmed that the deceased and one of the injured individuals are from Punjab.
Law enforcement personnel have cordoned off the area and initiated a thorough search operation to identify and apprehend those behind the attack. Investigations are currently underway.
Security Forces Neutralize Indian-Backed Terrorists in Balochistan
In a separate development, Pakistani security forces carried out a successful intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Kolpur area of Kachhi District, Balochistan. The operation was launched based on intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists affiliated with the Indian-backed proxy group, Fitna al Hindustan.
According to military sources shared with Pulse Pakistan, security forces engaged the terrorists in an intense firefight. As a result, two Indian-sponsored militants were killed. A cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the site.
The militants were reportedly involved in several Indian-sponsored terrorist activities in the region. A sanitization operation is currently ongoing to clear the area of any additional threats.
