ISLAMABAD | May 23, 2025 – In a fiery joint press conference on Friday, Pakistan’s top civil and military leadership squarely blamed India for the horrific Khuzdar school bus bombing that claimed the lives of six children and left 51 others injured, pledging a “decisive” response against what they termed “Fitna al-Hindustan.”

Interior Secretary Captain (retd) Khurram Muhammad Agha and Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry did not mince words, condemning the May 21 attack as a “barbaric assault on Pakistan’s traditions and future.” The officials alleged that Indian intelligence proxies had orchestrated the bombing through a Balochistan-based terror group.

“This was not just an attack on children—it was an attack on our values, our traditions, and our peace,” said Agha, vowing retribution.

Direct Link to India: ‘We Have Undeniable Evidence’

Lt Gen Chaudhry detailed a litany of terror attacks across Balochistan, linking them to the India-backed outfit “Fitna al-Hindustan,” including the murder of labourers in Nushki, Tump Kech, and Gwadar, the Jaffer Express bombing, and now the Khuzdar school bus carnage.

“India has been involved in state-sponsored terrorism inside Pakistan for over two decades. We’ve shared the evidence with the UN, with world leaders—and now, with our people,” said Chaudhry, referring to dossiers presented in 2009, 2015, and 2019.

He cited confessions from captured militants and the notorious case of Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav as “open-and-shut” proof of Indian complicity. Audio evidence from a recently arrested terrorist in Jhelum was played during the presser, further tying Indian military handlers to on-ground attacks.

Soft Targets Under Fire

Captain Agha said India had turned to “soft targets” after its proxies failed to hit high-value military sites, adding that schoolchildren were deliberately chosen in Khuzdar to create fear.

“After the failure of Operation Sindoor, Indian proxies have focused on soft targets. But let me be clear: our response will be decisive. They will not succeed.”

Balochistan’s Progress Rattling Enemies

The DG ISPR stressed that Pakistan’s development efforts in Balochistan were a key trigger for Indian aggression.

“The visible pace of progress in Balochistan is alarming for anti-state actors. Their worry is justified—because the state is succeeding,” he said, noting that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s government is investing heavily in the province.

He rebuked calls for Balochistan’s separation as “hollow propaganda,” pointing out the province’s ethnic diversity and strong political representation.

Indian Media, Afghan Duplicity, and Global Silence

Both officials criticized Indian media for glorifying acts of terrorism and accused Afghan-based routes of being used for smuggling arms. A stern warning was issued to Afghanistan:

“Don’t become India’s pawn. Pakistan will not tolerate its soil being used for attacks against its people,” warned Agha.

Chaudhry also hit out at global hypocrisy, accusing the international community of turning a blind eye to Indian-funded terrorism while quick to blame Pakistan.

“The same Indian media that weeps about peace celebrates when our children die. What kind of humanity is that?”

Blackmail, Suicide Bombers, and Propaganda Wars

Disturbingly, DG ISPR revealed that Indian handlers were allegedly blackmailing young girls into becoming suicide bombers.

“They are the Khawarij of this era—spared idolaters, but slaughtered Muslims,” he said.

Thousands of social media accounts run by Indian intelligence agencies were identified as being part of a coordinated disinformation campaign, the DG ISPR claimed, citing data from watchdog groups like DisinfoLab.

Religious Sanctities and Cross-Border Provocations

Pakistan also accused India of targeting religious sites, claiming Indian drones attempted to strike Nankana Sahib but were intercepted.

“Sikh pilgrims are protected here. We don’t touch places of worship. Unlike them, we act with restraint,” said Chaudhry.

Final Word: ‘We Will Not Be Intimidated’

The conference ended with a unified message: Pakistan is not intimidated.

“We’ve been here before. We’ll stand again. And this Fitna al-Hindustan will fall—just like the lies behind it,” declared Lt Gen Chaudhry.

The message was clear: the state is mobilizing for more than just retaliation—it’s preparing to dismantle what it sees as a cross-border campaign to destabilize Pakistan from within.
