Pakistan’s bowlers have made notable gains in the latest ICC T20I rankings, with several pacers and spinners climbing the ladder following consistent performances in recent international matches.
Haris and Abbas Break into Top 20
Pace duo Haris Rauf and Abbas Afridi now share the 18th position in the ICC T20I bowling rankings with 605 points each, reflecting their growing impact on the international stage. Shaheen Shah Afridi also improved his standing, rising to 35th place with 552 points.
Shadab, Abrar Make Gains; Naseem, Muqeem Slip
Vice-captain Shadab Khan and spinner Abrar Ahmed both climbed to the 58th spot with 476 points. However, young bowlers Naseem Shah and Sufiyan Muqeem slipped in the rankings, now placed at 92nd and 95th respectively.
Batting Rankings: Babar, Rizwan Hold Ground
On the batting side, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan retained their 12th and 13th positions. Mohammad Haris remained steady at 30th. Meanwhile, Hasan Nawaz dropped to 46th, Saim Ayub to 62nd, and captain Salman Ali Agha fell two spots to 76th. Fakhar Zaman also slipped one place to 87th.
Global Rankings Update
New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy leads the T20I bowling chart, while England’s Adil Rashid moved into second, ahead of India’s Varun Chakaravarthy. In the batting rankings, Australia’s Travis Head retains the top spot, followed by India’s Abhishek Sharma and Tilak Varma, with England’s Phil Salt dropping to fourth.
