Lahore, June 25, 2025 – Pakistan’s men’s cricket team is set to tour Bangladesh for an electrifying three-match T20I series from July 20 to 24, hosted at the iconic Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka, as confirmed by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
The series kicks off on July 20, with subsequent matches scheduled for July 22 and 24, all commencing at 6 PM local time (5 PM Pakistan Standard Time). Pakistan will arrive in Dhaka on July 16 to prepare for the high-stakes encounters. This tour, finalized during discussions between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and BCB on the sidelines of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, marks a key preparatory step for both teams ahead of the 2025 Asia Cup and the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup.

Pakistan enters the series with momentum, having secured a 3-0 whitewash against Bangladesh in their last T20I clash in Lahore in May 2025. The home side dominated the first match, posting 201/6 and bowling out Bangladesh for 164 to claim a 37-run victory. The second game saw Pakistan repeat the shorelines, restricting Bangladesh to 144 for a 57-run win. In the final T20I, Bangladesh fought back with a 197-run target, powered by Parvez Hossain Emon’s fiery half-century, but Pakistan chased it down with 16 balls to spare, led by Mohammad Haris’s explosive century.
Bangladesh, under captain Litton Das, will aim to leverage home conditions to reverse their fortunes after a challenging 2-1 loss to the UAE earlier this year. Despite missing key players like Mustafizur Rahman, the hosts are expected to test new strategies and combinations. Pakistan, led by Salman Ali Agha and coached by Mike Hesson, will look to maintain their dominance, building on strong performances from the HBL PSL X and players like Saim Ayub, Mohammad Haris, and Hasan Ali.
The series promises thrilling cricket, with Dhaka’s Sher-e-Bangla Stadium expected to draw packed crowds. Fans can anticipate high-octane action as both teams fine-tune their squads for upcoming global tournaments.
