Karachi: Pakistani actor and model Humaira Asghar Ali was found dead in her rented apartment in DHA Phase-VI’s Ittehad Commercial Area on Tuesday, prompting a police investigation into the circumstances of her death.
The 35-year-old, known for her roles in the ARY reality show Tamasha Ghar and the 2015 film Jalaibee, had been living alone in the flat for seven years. Police reported that Humaira had not paid rent since 2024, leading the flat’s owners to file a legal suit against her. A court-appointed bailiff discovered her decomposed body during an eviction process. Initial police findings suggest natural causes, but a post-mortem report is awaited to confirm the cause of death. Authorities have sealed the flat and launched a thorough investigation.
