Pakistani-American political activist and philanthropist Tahir Javed shared his views on Pakistan’s economic challenges and humanitarian efforts during an interview on the Coffee with CEO program organized by CEO Club Pakistan.
During the discussion, Javed spoke about his involvement in coordinating international relief efforts after the devastating floods in Pakistan, particularly in Sindh. He said he helped facilitate a delegation of U.S. lawmakers to mobilize financial assistance and raise global awareness about the humanitarian crisis.
Javed noted that while foreign aid is important, Pakistan’s recovery largely depends on political stability and effective leadership. He emphasized the need for economic reforms, including lowering energy costs and expanding opportunities in the digital economy.
Encouraging young Pakistanis, Javed urged the youth to focus on entrepreneurship and innovation to build independent careers and contribute to the country’s economic growth.
