Gilgit-Baltistan’s Chief Minister, Haji Gulbar Khan, visited the flood-affected area of Tilli Das in Gupis, Ghizer, to assess the ongoing rescue and rehabilitation operations. The CM expressed his heartfelt solidarity with the families affected by the devastating floods and ensured immediate assistance and relocation for the displaced communities.
In a crucial visit to the flood-hit region of Tilli Das in Ghizer, Gilgit-Baltistan’s Chief Minister Haji Gulbar Khan took stock of the current rescue and rehabilitation efforts following the destructive floods. The devastating floods, which swept through the area, have left several families displaced, and the CM emphasized the urgency of providing relief to the affected.
Khan instructed the authorities to immediately relocate affected families to safer locations and provide them with much-needed medical aid and relief supplies. The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of timely intervention and assured the public that efforts would be intensified to ensure no one is left without support.
In his address, CM Khan also expressed his gratitude to the Force Commander of Northern Areas for their swift rescue operations. He credited the timely flow of information and coordination as key factors in saving numerous lives during the floods.
The Chief Minister’s visit to the flood-stricken area was part of ongoing efforts by the regional government to bring attention to the flood disaster in Gilgit-Baltistan and provide necessary relief to the residents. As the region recovers from the aftermath, more assistance and rehabilitation programs are expected to be launched to help the affected families rebuild their lives.
