Pakistan Announces White-Ball Squads for Upcoming West Indies Tour

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled the national squad for the upcoming limited-overs series against the West Indies. The Men in Green will play three ODIs and three T20Is, with the ODI series set to take place at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad & Tobago, and the T20I series scheduled in Lauderhill, USA.


On Friday, the PCB announced the 16-member squad for Pakistan’s upcoming limited-overs series against the West Indies. The series will include three ODIs and three T20Is. The ODI matches will be held from August 8 to 12 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad & Tobago. Mohammad Rizwan will continue to lead the ODI side, with Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi also part of the squad. Hasan Nawaz, a right-handed batter, is the only uncapped player in the ODI squad.

The T20I series will be played from July 31 to August 3 at the Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill, USA. Salman Ali Agha will captain the T20I team, with fast bowlers Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, and Shaheen Shah Afridi making a return to the squad in the limited-overs format. Pakistan’s T20I squad also includes key players such as Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Nawaz, and Hussain Talat, among others.

The team will arrive in the USA on Sunday, July 27, following the conclusion of the three-match T20I series in Bangladesh.
