Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has named a 15-member squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, set for July 20–24 in Dhaka, with Salman Ali Agha continuing as captain, while injured stars Shadab Khan and Haris Rauf have been sidelined.

The squad, selected by the Men’s National Selection Committee, blends experience with emerging talent, retaining players like Fakhar Zaman and Faheem Ashraf. Mohammad Haris and Sahibzada Farhan are included as wicketkeepers, offering batting flexibility. Shadab, recovering from shoulder surgery in England, and Rauf, nursing a hamstring injury from a U.S. T20 league, are notable absences, alongside Hasan Ali, who is committed to county cricket. Former captains Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi remain excluded as selectors prioritize new faces ahead of the World Cup.

Uncapped pacers Salman Mirza and Ahmed Daniyal, standout performers in the Pakistan Super League, earn call-ups, while spinner Mohammad Nawaz returns after a year-long absence. The team will be backed by a robust management unit led by manager Naveed Akram Cheema and head coach Mike Hesson, with support from bowling coach Ashley Noffke, batting coach Muhammad Hanif Malik, and fielding coach Shane McDermott. The PCB will announce the squad for the subsequent white-ball series against West Indies later.
