PM Shahbaz Shareef Visits Qatar in Strategic Push for Trade and Energy Ties

High-Level Reception in Doha

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Doha at the invitation of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. He was received at King Hamad International Airport by Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, reflecting the importance attached to the visit by Qatari leadership.

Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the prime minister is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, along with senior officials and key cabinet members.

During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to hold comprehensive talks with the Qatari emir, covering political coordination, economic collaboration, defence cooperation, and people-to-people exchanges.
