Hina Javed Murder Investigation Takes New Turn

Hina Javed Murder investigation in Rawalpindi has taken a significant turn after a domestic worker allegedly confessed during questioning that he strangled and assaulted the 45-year-old woman during a confrontation at her residence.
Police sources said the domestic worker, identified as Zeeshan, gave investigators an account of the events surrounding Hina’s death. According to reports, his statements have changed during the course of the investigation, and authorities are continuing to verify his claims against forensic and other evidence.
Hina Javed Case: Domestic Worker Gives Account
According to the latest account attributed to the arrested worker, he was called to the room during an argument between Hina and her husband, Faisal Asghar.
The worker reportedly told investigators that Hina attempted to leave during the confrontation. He allegedly said that Faisal and he caught her when she tried to escape, after which she resisted and he strangled her.
Police sources have also said that the domestic worker admitted to stealing from the house on previous occasions. However, investigators are still examining the circumstances surrounding the alleged killing and the individual roles of those accused.
The worker’s account is being treated as part of the investigation rather than a final determination of criminal responsibility.
Body Found in Bathroom
The case emerged after Hina was found dead inside the bathroom of an apartment in Rawalpindi’s Lalkurti area.
According to the FIR and police reports, her hands were tied behind her back and a wire was found around her neck. Her body was discovered attached to the bathroom shower. Police subsequently registered a murder case at Civil Lines Police Station.
The victim’s family has accused her husband, the domestic worker and her father-in-law of involvement. The husband, Faisal Asghar, and domestic worker Zeeshan have been arrested, while police have continued investigating the role of other individuals.
Post-Mortem Reveals Multiple Injuries

According to the report, Hina suffered multiple injuries, including a fractured neck bone and injuries to her ribs and hip. The examination also found blood around the heart. The initial post-mortem did not conclusively establish the cause of death, with further forensic investigation required.
A post-mortem examination has added further details to the investigation.
Police have also collected DNA samples from the suspects, while a rope and wire allegedly linked to the incident were reportedly recovered during the investigation.

The investigation remains ongoing as police work to establish a complete sequence of events leading to Hina’s death.
The domestic worker’s reported confession is a significant development, but investigators are expected to compare the statement with forensic findings, witness accounts and other available evidence before drawing final conclusions.
The case has also drawn wider public attention, with First Lady Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari calling for a thorough investigation into Hina’s death.
As the investigation progresses, police are expected to determine the precise roles of the arrested suspects and establish whether additional individuals were involved.
