ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Army successfully conducted a training launch of the newly-developed Fatah-4, an indigenously produced ground-launched cruise missile, on Tuesday. The missile, which boasts a striking range of 750 kilometers, was tested as part of Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to enhance its missile capabilities.
Advanced Features of the Fatah-4 Missile
The Fatah-4 missile is equipped with cutting-edge avionics and navigational systems, enabling it to evade enemy missile defense mechanisms with its terrain-hugging flight capabilities. The missile is designed to engage high-priority targets with exceptional precision, making it a significant addition to the Pakistan Army’s arsenal. This system is poised to increase the operational range, effectiveness, and survivability of Pakistan’s conventional missile forces.

Boost to Pakistan’s Conventional Missile Forces
As part of the Army Rocket Force Command, the Fatah-4 missile will further bolster the Pakistan Army’s ability to conduct effective missile operations. The successful training launch was attended by the Chief of General Staff, senior officers from Pakistan’s armed forces, as well as scientists and engineers who contributed to the missile’s development.
National Praise for the Successful Launch
In recognition of the milestone, Pakistan’s President, Prime Minister, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), and services chiefs all congratulated the participating personnel, scientists, and engineers for their contributions to the successful launch.
This development comes amidst a period of heightened military readiness, as Pakistan had previously conducted a training launch of the Fatah series surface-to-surface missile with a range of 120 kilometers in May, as part of military exercise Indus. The Pakistan Army continues to enhance its defense capabilities amid ongoing regional security concerns.
